2021 Softball Registration is CLOSED.
Please email president@northeastsoftball.ca if you would like to register after the closing date. We cannot guarantee placement on a team after the closing date.
Softball 2021
League play: the full schedule can be found on the Capital Region Softball League website.
Each team will be required to have a Safety Manager to meet the Hygiene and Sanitization requirements set out by Softball Manitoba.

Softball usually starts at the beginning of May and finishes at the end of June.
Both boys and girls can start playing at the age of 3. At or before the age of 9, boys move over to baseball and girls can continue with softball.
League games, practices and all tournaments are subject to information from Softball Manitoba and directives from the Province of Manitoba.

Timbits Learn to Play 1 & 2: $140.00
U10 - U19: $210.00
Some Clubs may charge additional fees. You MUST select the additional fee package if you reside in a Community Club’s catchment that charges additional fees.

Equipment
Every player requires a softball glove, a batting helmet with a cage and a pair of running shoes.
U10, U12 and U14 players and all pitchers are required to wear a fielding mask. Fielding masks are available for purchase at your local sporting goods store or from NESA for $45.00. Please email president@northeastsoftball.ca for details.
Optional equipment includes a softball bat, batting gloves and cleats.
Jerseys will be provided.
2021 COVID-19 Refund Policy:
Our first priority is the health and safety of the athletes, coaches, volunteers, and our community. We will continue to follow the guidance provided by the Province of Manitoba Public Health Orders and Softball Manitoba.
If the upcoming 2021 season is cancelled prior to starting, a full refund will be granted to all players.
If the 2021 season is cancelled midway through the season, a refund will be granted of fees paid to NESA less costs already incurred by NESA. These may include Softball Manitoba fees, City Field fees, Umpire fees, Sanitizing items, Community Club fees and Admin fees.
